This sounds like Slovenian sludge metal vocals over dimestore analog synths and vocals recorded with a Radio Shack mic. I enjoy it greatly, and with each listen something new is revealed.
The lyrical lesson is valuable I think, especially with the timbral and syntactical distortions. The singer sounds vaguely European but I can't place it. There is a surprisingly cosmic philosophy at work here; the poetic vision of footprints washed away by time touches my old heart. The song is hopeful and instructive. A rallying cry of hope for the children of today to think for themselves and work for their freedom under the tyranny of the established order. |
